Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder, professionally Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. Parents of Winona Ryder named her for her hometown. Her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder believes she is Jewish has a connection to Ryder's Jewish father. Uria is Ryder's younger sister. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are Ryder's half-siblings. Ryder's parents moved her along with her siblings into Mendocino County California when Ryder turned seven. They didn't even have electricity. Ryder read a lot because of the lack of television. Ryder was enrolled in acting classes when Ryder was twelve years old, at the American Conservatory Theatre. Lucas the film, which was released in 1986 that she was in, was her debut major role. Ryder was only 15 at the time she was cast. Ryder was bullied throughout her time in high school. Ryder hoped her career in acting would alter this. However, the plan didn't pan out. But she continued to pursue her goal. It was 1988 in the year Tim Burton released Beetlejuice that was her breakthrough. Ryder kept playing successful roles in several movies. In 1993 she won an Oscar Awards to be awarded for The Age of Innocence.
