Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude is a Canadian actress best recognized for her role in the fantasy TV series Shadowhunters on Freeform in addition to Venevision television series Cosita linda and Voltea Pa' Que Te Enamores. Emeraude Toubia also is an accomplished model and dancer. Born in Montreal, she's lived in Texas since childhood, and always loved performing. She's been training in various dance styles since she was young. At the age of 15, she entered beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained fame when she participated in Nuestra Belleza Latina, the Univision pageant show. She made her acting debut in 2010as receptionist in an episode of Telemundo's television show Aurora. In 2015, she appeared in her debut movie, the action-drama Tattooed Love.
