Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy (born on the 17th October 1992) was born on 17 October 1992, and is an Indian actress. She has a prominent role on screen in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies. She received the National Film Award as Best Actress in the year 2018 in the role of actress Savitri which was in the Telugu film Mahanati. Also, she has received three SIIMA Awards as well as the Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar is the daughter of producer of film G. Suresh Kumar, and actress Menaka G. Suresh. She began her career as a child performer during the 2000s, and later was back in films following her studies of fashion design. Her first lead role in Geethaanjali (2013 Malayalam). She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). In 2015, Keerthy accepted her first film projects that were not in Malayalam and signed up to appear in several Tamil films simultaneously. In the year 2015, she debuted A. L. Vijay's romantic comedies Idhu Enna Maayam and Vikramprabhu opposite one another. However, the films didn't do very well in cinemas. To accommodate larger projects due to her hectic schedule, she was forced to opt out of some films, that she began to work on. The films included were Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye (a love story) as well as Deekay's Kavalaivendam. The actress was in two films in rapid succession with Sivakarthikeyan, Rajini Murugan & Remo. Dhanush was also an actor of note in Prabhu's Thodari. But, the movie has been delayed since 2015, with speculation of a release date after September 2020 under a different title, Janakitho Nunu. Nenu Sailaja (2016), which featured Ram Pothineni as the actor was Keerthy's debut. In January of 2017, Keerthy appeared in Bairavaa in a film starring actor Vijay and directed by Bharathan.
